When my first baby was already on his way I used to spend hours and days thinking on how I would decorate his future room. The furniture, the lamps, if the curtain should be matching the carpet, etc. And as last decoration detail I left the walls in blank. I knew for sure that I’m going to hang family photos all over it and put some deco vinyls too but wanted to have a unique and special picture too that would hang there for long long time. A sweet alphabet poster is a popular choice to decorate kids rooms and classrooms aswell. It makes great wall deco and it’s not only colorful and fun but also educational. A great way to learn words and alphabet letters from visual memory! In one word: an alphabet can not be missing from a nursery room! There are many creative examples you can find on internet and baby room decoration shops. In my case I chose one from IKEA and I really like it for its simplicity and colours and shapes as well. Here I show you some examples you can find on internet.

Inspired by these examples and the fact that I make letters for baby names I prepared my own Alphabet. The more colourful the better and if the alphabet is made with Chicamama typography it’s the best! Every single letter is different in colour and fabric and are all made by me. Perhaps some of you might discover one decorating your kids’ room because these are photos taken of actual orders I had and now are decorating rooms in different corners of the world 🙂
It makes great wall deco and creates a fun learning zone at the same time. I hope you like it and can assure you that it soon will be available in high resolution as well.
